iOS Developer

We are looking for an iOS developer as a key member of our iOS team. You’ll be joining us at a pivotal moment as you’ll be instrumental in delivering and shaping our first release client and take a leading role in ongoing development.

Your skills

  • Working knowledge of Swift and Objective-C

  • Experience with the App store submission process

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

Desirable, but not essential

  • Experience working on Apps used by corporate clients

  • Experience with watchOS

  • Knowledge of Test Driven Development (TDD)

Android Developer

We are looking for an Android developer to help us to initiate and build out an Android native experience of our app. You’ll be a product-aware Android engineer who can work with our existing design and iOS engineering teams. You’ll be user centric; helping us to translate our stress measurement system into a format that is sympathetic to Android users and interacts with them in a way they find natural.

 

You’ll communicate frequently with the backend team, to make sure that the app you build synchronises with our cloud-based backend. We’re expecting that you are passionate about technology, enjoy work independently while also having a collaborative mindset to make the best use of your talents and of those around you.

 

Your skills

  • Working knowledge of Java or Kotlin

  • Knowledge of trade offs between available libraries

  • Experience contributing apps to the Play Store

  • Knowledge of implementing local and instrumented tests

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

  • Great at communicating, both verbally and in writing

 

Desirable, but not essential

  • Working knowledge of C++ libraries and familiarity with how to integrate a C++ library into an Android app

  • Experience with Android Wear

  • Experience with the Android NDK

Web Developer

We are looking for a web developer to work with the current team to expand and build out our web app. The web app is a complement to our phone applications, allowing users to view their data and teams to view aggregate data about themselves and those they are grouped with.

 

You’ll know how to write good modern and maintainable JavaScript web applications. You are welcome to be involved in developing the current back end system — a REST API, implemented in Python. You’ll collaborate with the Data Science team to help process data and present the users’ data in the most cogent way, and with the design team to achieve a new unified look and feel to felix.com and the web app.

Your skills

  • Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and CSS.

  • Experience putting JavaScript apps into production.

  • Enthusiastic about keeping on top of the changes in the JavaScript ecosystem.

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Great communication skills, both verbal and written.

 

Desirable, but not essential

  • Knowledge of Python

  • Working knowledge of D3.js and visualisation of data in the browser

  • Knowledge of working with sensitive personal information.

  • Working knowledge of containerisation and container orchestration.
